Tech has invaded our house too

Another magical instalment of Toy Story, this time centring around Sheriff Jessie as the female lead. The toys are determined that children should play together with real toys rather than be locked onto their own screens. Jessie leads the charge, helping Bonnie who likes using her imagination to play with real toys rather than bend to peer pressure and spend her time in front of a screen. Until she too is bought a ‘Lilypad’.

As with many children's animations, several stories unfold simultaneously. An army of Buzz Lightyears is stranded on an island, Buzz has a sweet spot for Jessie, and the relationship between Woody and Buzz remains as warm as ever. The dinosaur exclaiming "extinction, not again!" will stay with me..

This time, instead of the child getting older, the toys are losing out to a device, bringing it right up to date.

It will definitely make you go home and hug your toys.
