Film: Table for Six: 2

As the name suggests, this is a sequel.

A cast of characters ranges from the wedding planners to the TV chef and a pop star thrown in; it’s a rare Korean/Chinese film where that doesn’t happen. Another welcome regular character comes in the form of a grandparent and Table for Six:2 delivers that too.

Although the plot disappears down several rabbit holes and/or weddings, I do find myself laughing all the way through this quite lengthy comedy.

It’s mostly watchable due to the great cast. And when Hong Kong appears in a film, it is usually a favourite character, as it is here.
