Film: Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

Another delightful instalment of Shaun's crew in Mossy Bottom. This time the story centres on the Farmer and his crush on the town vet, but first there is the small matter of a Bigfoot character who has descended upon the village just before Halloween.

So there's romance, mystery, and constant references to other films that will keep adults as entertained as the kids.

We still have the laughing pigs, Bitzer the farmer's dog, who is much less put upon these days, and I love that the baby sheep, Timmy, is being handed blunt instruments so  could join in whatever escapades the flock are up to without danger. Timmy was so looking forward to having the giant pumpkins for Halloween that, when they got damaged, it sent Shaun on an adventure to replace them, which kicked off this latest adventure.

Loved it.
