Film: Central Intelligence

I’m sure everyone has called it ‘no intelligence’ already, so there's no need for me to do so.The story is good; at school Calvin Joyner is voted most likely to succeed and Bob is overweight, much-bullied with no friends who loves dancing. They meet via Facebook just before the High School re-union which Calvin, now just an accountant who did marry his school sweet heart doesn’t want to go to. We only discover later that Bob is a slimmed down, super fit CIA agent on the run after being framed for his partner’s death. Bob need’s Calvin’s maths wizardry to help solve the crime. So it’s all good but the best bits are in the too-long, opening sequence before Bob’s profession is revealed. After that it’s a series of predictable scenes that are over-acted. Which is a real shame as two key actors are clearly funny and have a rapport, as the outtakes worth staying in the cinema for a super-long 1 hr 47 minutes.Could do better.7/10
