Sweden: Birthday Trip October 2014 - the presents!

He did give me the suitcase a couple of days before we flew out though as of course I wanted to use it! We're not short on cases although they do get a battering with 4-5 trips a year. This isn't any suitcase though; this is London Fog, a make of luggage I've (we've) been hankering after for about a year. They just make such practical and smart luggage with pockets where you need them so everything stays in place. If you know me at all, you'll know that I must have everything in its place. It's a time-saving thing rather than a tidy thing.A week before we flew out I got a pre-birthday present, the Nutella with my name on it - literally! I love the roses, pure indulgence for my bubbly birthday bath and the DVD is a reminder of me watching that film for the first time, on a deck chair inside Millennium Point! We adopted Dewey, one of the robots featured in Silent Running (really , we did) after that so the film has a very special place in my heart. The final present was waiting for me at home, what a lovely thing to look forward to. The beautiful vase made by a local artist, is perfect for one or two flowers or a small posy. The size is relevant as we are not buying each big presents that are going to be tricky when we move to the other side of the world! Forward planning is key to save the heartache of getting rid of things we love!@RickieWrites
